United Houma Nation Opens Registration for Tribal Wide Distribution Monday for Saturday, June 10, 2023

Exciting news! TheĀ United Houma Nation is receiving a generous donation of frozen protein items – pork roasts and ground beef open to all tribal households from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day SaintsĀ andĀ 2nd Harvest Food Bank!Ā Tribal staff and community volunteers will distribute these items along with hurricane preparedness supplies and feminine hygiene products at the Tribal Headquarters located at 400 Monarch Drive in Houma onĀ June 10, 2023.Ā  More food distribution dates will be announced soon.Ā  Thank you to Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana for the donation of hurricane prep items and Miss Universe and Proctor and Gamble for the donation of feminine products.

After completing the registration form, UHN staff will review and verify eligibility as the donations are limited to tribal families only.Ā  After verification, each household will be given a Unique Registration Number/Confirmation that will grant them access to the distribution site on June 10th.Ā  Pre-registering will assist the UHN in distributing the donations according to the number of people in each household and having adequate supplies on hand for the volume of people registered.Ā  You MUST bring that Registration Number/Confirmation with you on June 10th for your household to receive their donation.
