Today, the UHN Election Board swore in two new Tribal Council members at the UHN Administrative Office in Houma. Kenner resident Kailyn Creppel King was sworn in as the new District 9 Tribal Council member. Kailyn will represent East Jefferson Parish, which was previously represented by Jason Trosclair. District 9 covers Metairie, Kenner, Harahan, Jefferson, Waggaman, Westwego, Bridge City and Avondale.
Chad Billiot of Galliano was sworn in as the new District 10 Tribal Council member. This seat was previously held by Donnie Verdin. District 10 covers Golden Meadow, Leeville, Galliano and Cut Off in Lafourche Parish, and Grand Isle in Jefferson Parish.
