The United Houma Nation is once again accepting applications from enrolled tribal citizens for UHN RISING Working Groups in Lafourche, St. Bernard, St. Mary, Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes.
Working groups are being formed to guide the development of Satellite Community Resilience Hubs in those parishes to ensure that each hub effectively serves the local community during both disaster (grey skies) and non-disaster (blue skies) times. Working group members will attend monthly meetings and will be paid an annual stipend for their participation.
