The United Houma Nation is launching our 5 year reoccurring Community Needs Assessment to help identify basic tribal demographic information as well as detailed information that helps determine new and emerging community needs. The online survey takes only 20 minutes to complete and should be completed by all tribal adults over the age of 18.
How does the Needs Assessment help tribal citizens? The data gathered through this survey tool allows the Tribal Administration to have more specific information to compete in grants to serve the community as well as it helps Tribal Council better understand needs that they should advocating on your behalf. By conducting the survey every 5 years, we are able to see trends and changes over time that help identify changes occurring in the community that may not otherwise be readily visible.
All tribal citizens over the age of 18 are encouraged to respond to the survey by Monday, March 8th. Eligible individuals who respond by the deadline will be put into a drawing for a $200 Visa Gift Card as a thank you for taking time out of your schedule. Thank you in advance for your help in completing the Needs Assessment and we look forward to sharing results.
