United Houma Nation, Inc., the 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation closely affiliated with the United Houma Nation tribal government, seeks proposals from Landscape Architects and qualified landscape architecture firms to provide green infrastructure and site planning services for the exterior grounds of the historic Daigleville School located at 8542 East Main Street in Houma, Louisiana.
The historic Daigleville School is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its contribution to the education of Native American students during the era of segregation. The building is to be retrofitted into a resilience hub during gray skies and a community space during blue skies. The site design must support public access while respecting the historic character of the property.
