United Houma Nation District 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Notices to Voters

The United Houma Nation (UHN) Election Board has mailed notices to all eligible, registered tribal voters in districts 4-8 with additional information regarding the election process, sample ballot, and polling site.  On Saturday, June 1, 2024, there will be elections for each of these districts.  Although notices have been mailed, we are also aware that the postal service is not always as efficient in processing mail as it was prior to COVID-19in the past and some individuals may not receive notices due to incorrect addresses on file; therefore, in an attempt to reach as many individuals as possible who are eligible to vote in this election, we are sharing the documents here.

In order to vote in the election, individuals must have registered on or before April 30, 2024 and reside (or be domiciled) in one of the districts engaged in this election.  Below are the boundaries of each district as well as the candidates seeking these council seats, and polling locations.  If any tribal citizen is unclear of their voter status or assigned district, please contact the United Houma Nation Administration Office at (985)223-3093 for assistance.
