Congratulations Marina Serigny on your Retirement

During the February 8 2020 Tribal Council Meeting, Chief Creppel and the Tribal Council honored and recognized Ms. Marina Serigny for her years of service upon her retirement.  Ms. Serigny, who is originally from Point aux Chene but now resides in Golden Meadow, worked in the UHN Enrollment Office off and on since the 1970 until staying permanently in 1997 until retiring in January.  Having accompanied her father to meet with tribal families to gather genealogy records, Ms. Marina was uniquely qualified for the Tribal Roll Coordinator position.  She will be sorely missed; however, the United Houma Nation is honored to have her years of service and wishes her well in retirement.

Ms. Serigny is the widow of George “Pete” Billiot, mother of Cindy, Miguel and Cheryl as well as grandmother and great grandmother to many. We wish you well with more time to spend with your loved ones.
