The graphics below provide an overview of the United Houma Nation’s comprehensive Tribal Resilience Plan and its five project phases, which are 1) enhance central community resilience hub; 2) establish and enhance satellite community resilience hubs; 3) strengthen and expand communications; 4) build capacity for economic development; and 5) community-led migration. NOAA’s Climate Resilience Regional Challenge grant awarded to the United Houma Nation funds phases 1,2,3 and 5. Preparations to implement this plan are currently underway.
