Expanding Traditions Workshop 4 Announced – Plant Medicines!

We are excited to announce our fourth workshop in the “Expanding Traditions” series, that will provide tribal citizens the opportunity to engage with people who have in-depth knowledge of the culture, traditions, and history of the United Houma Nation. This project will consist of four separate panels that will be held each month utilizing Zoom.
For our fourth workshop, we will have Tammy Greer, Ida Aronson, and Joshua Pitre who will be sharing their knowledge of traditional plants typically used by the Houma tribe. The event is limited to a 75 capacity and open to individuals of Houma descent only. It will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 5:30pm over Zoom. We are excited for the many more workshops to come, made possible by the Bayou Culture Collaborative Series and the National Performance Network. Please complete the form below.
