Q: Will construction management services be eligible to participate in the “build” scope?
A: Our expectation is that the selected firm will oversee both the bid and build processes.
Q: Can we describe our capacity for a design-build delivery method as a suggested approach for a project like this?
A: We currently are not accepting design-build proposals.
Q: Will the submission date for proposals be extended?
A: No, the submission date will not be extended.
UHN RISING JOB OPENINGS
Community Engagement and Outreach Fellow: This position will work at the United Houma Nation (UHN) administrative headquarters in Houma, Louisiana alongside four project coordinators, the senior project manager, and the United Houma Nation’s nonprofit executive director. This position will be multifaceted—working across multiple subprojects within the overarching effort with an explicit focus on community engagement and communications. Technical Support, Project Evaluation, and Communications Fellow: This position will provide capacity to the Community Resilience Center at The Water Institute (Center) and to Dr. Kyle Whyte with the University of Michigan. The Center is explicitly working in a capacity-building role to support the United Houma Nation (UHN) in the implementation of UHN RISING.
